These terms apply to purchases from Van Isle Gift Baskets. Please read them before placing an order.

About us

Van Isle Gift Baskets is a Vancouver Island gifting business based in Deep Cove, North Saanich, British Columbia. You can reach us through our contact form.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted once we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or an address cannot be served — and will refund any payment for an order we cannot fulfil.

Pricing, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

Product descriptions, images and substitutions

Product photographs are representative of the style and character of each basket. Individual items may vary with seasonal availability; any substitution will be of equal or greater value and will preserve the overall character of the basket.

Delivery

Delivery details, timing and any applicable fees are described on our Shipping & Delivery page and confirmed with you for your order. Requested delivery dates are targets, not guarantees, and delays outside our control (such as weather or ferry disruptions) may occur.

Cancellations, returns and damaged orders

Because baskets contain perishable and consumable goods, our returns approach is set out on our Returns page. Please review it before ordering.

Food, allergens and product information

Baskets may contain food, beverages, cosmetics, bath products or candles. Ingredient, allergen and best-before information is provided on each manufacturer’s packaging, which is the authoritative source. If you have an allergy or sensitivity, please check the packaging before use and contact us with any questions before ordering.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Site content and branding are the property of Van Isle Gift Baskets. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
