Our Island

Rooted in Deep Cove, at home across the Island.

Deep Cove sits at the quiet northern edge of the Saanich Peninsula, where forest meets water near Sidney. It’s a slower corner of Vancouver Island, and that pace shapes how we work.

A slower kind of gifting

There’s a way of giving that isn’t about volume or flash. It’s about attention — noticing what someone would actually love, and presenting it with care. That’s the kind of gifting the Island invites, and the kind we try to practise.

Made with the Island in mind

Vancouver Island has a deep community of independent makers — roasters, chocolatiers, ceramicists and small-batch producers. As our collection grows, our aim is to feature more of that work, so that a gift feels connected to a real place. We’ll describe those relationships here as they are confirmed.

Coast, forest, community

The colours we reach for, the textures, the calm we aim for — all of it comes from here: the muted greens of the cedar, the warmth of driftwood and sand, the steady presence of the coast. Our gifts are meant to carry a little of that sense of place wherever they go.
